Medio’s Mobile Integrated Services Platform was designed to enable operators to apply data and knowledge of their customers in optimizing the mobile data experience for their consumers. MISP is built with several design principles in mind:

• Valuable consumer data is available at all stages of consumer interaction (browse, search, purchase, etc.)
• Insights on consumer behavior decay and need to applied as soon as possible for maximum efficacy
• Application of insights requires integration into multiple touch points with the consumer

In order to address these design principles, Medio built a platform that not only emphasizes its ability to gather data, but also its ability to act on that data as quickly as possible. This required building brand new platform components that extended from data processing to the different service layers to front-end and client integration. The result is a platform that can develop real-time recommendations to users in a variety of circumstances, show those recommendations, and react to consumer response to those recommendations rapidly. It also allows Medio to test, interpret, and make comprehensive changes to user experience with relatively little development cost. Medio has used the Mobile Integrated Services Platform to deliver personalized user interfaces for portals and storefronts as well as for other consumer-facing applications.
