Predictive Analytics Provider Accelerates Business Momentum with Marketing and New Business Venture Hires

SEATTLE – March 21, 2013 - Medio, the leading provider of predictive analytics that optimize the lifetime value of mobile app customers, announced today the addition of key hires to its leadership team. David Bluhm joined the company as chief marketing officer, John Maffei, joined as general manager of new business ventures and Beau Ross joined as director of marketing.

David Bluhm is a serial entrepreneur who has founded, co-founded and held senior positions in dozens of technology and consumer-facing start-up companies returns to Medio, which he helped co-found in 2004. As chief marketing officer, Bluhm will oversee marketing and product management.

John Maffei, a seasoned entertainment and gaming executive previously with Playsino and Xfire, will lead Medio’s new business ventures.  In his role, Maffei will be instrumental in developing the company’s relationships with key accounts and seeking new business opportunities to support Medio’s continued market expansion.

Beau Ross, previously with Z2Live, Big Fish Games and DDB Seattle, will drive Medio’s product and consumer marketing. Both Maffei and Ross will work on new business initiatives designed to help mobile app developers acquire, retain, and monetize their mobile customers.

The addition of Bluhm, Maffei and Ross to the Medio team follows the hiring of Ken Lawrence as vice president of sales last fall, the recent promotion of Michael McMillan to vice president of information technology and the company’s launch of their cloud-based, predictive analytics platform.
